Planes

With a title like "The Power of Dreaming: Taman Sari, Gardens of Delight and Identity", curator, Laura Fan really sets it up to be a spectacular curated-exhibition @ Rimbun Dahan 2005. Something Malaysian art scene desperately needs. But I was dissapointed to find out that this 'curated-exhibition' just meant bringing ur work one week before opening, arrange it, and the curator will try to write something which vaguely links the works together. I suppose the other artists are used to these kind of 'curated-exhibitions' as some of them just gave old works.

But Planes are 12"x12" concrete blocks stacked up to block a doorway. Quite like the idea of these airplane formations cast in concrete.
